Jasper, Tenn., July 7, 2015 -O’Neil Color & Compounding, a leader in color masterbatches and custom compounds for the plastics processing industry, has announced the expansion of operations at its Garfield, New Jersey facilities.

According to O’Neil Vice President Phil DeChard, “the company has added both production and laboratory capabilities as the beginning of a three-year plan to deliver higher value, faster turnaround and a wider range of products and services to our customers.”

Recent improvements include a new twin-screw 27mm quick-turn line for sampling, three new injection molding machines for faster and more accurate color matching, and a complete retrofit of the facility’s dust collection system as part of Primex Color, Compounding & Additives’s ongoing commitment to green manufacturing practices.

DeChard said that this is just the first phase of a company-wide plan to improve capabilities and expand capacity at Primex Color, Compounding & Additives’s Garfield plant and its Jasper, Tennessee facility.
